With no swimming pool around, we had to enjoy a whole new kind of fun. Believe it or not, this was a first for Alyssa. She was a bit timid at first, but a few practice runs with mommy and she got the hang of it quick. Oh – and the thing I am sitting on is a horse shoe pit. Can’t wait to use that in our horse shoe competitions.
Megan has been winning at hide-n-go-seek lately.

So with this kind of fun, why did we ever build a pool?????

Let’s see, we have been here for about 6 months and I am still the primary source of entertainment, I just sent the check in for Trey’s first month of pre-school which starts in 3 weeks….but who’s counting (me). You all will meet other kids and feel at home soon enough.
that’s how we keep cool at our house, oh, and by swimming in the neighborhood fishing ponds… but i hardly recommend that for Alyssa. 🙂 Glad you guys are getting settled in. Sounds like you had a lot of help. We’re already planning the Thanksgiving visit there, with or without Adam, Mandy and Clive. Maybe we can convince them to join us. 🙂 Still waiting on my first Nashville postcard… I guess I’ll have to send you one from Oklahoma to get it started. Miss you guys!!
