Good-byes

A few of our good-byes

We have had a most of our final good-byes. Though I always heard it is not good-bye with friends but just “see you later.” We have been showered with love and tears over the last few days. While I don’t like good-byes, sometimes you never know what you mean to someone until you see them tear up with that last hug. Thank you to all my dear friends who have loved me, supported me, grieved with me and rejoiced with me. I will miss each of you.

I will offically be offline Tuesday and will reconnect from Spring Hill, TN.

  1. I can’t believe it’s here! How hard to say goodbye to so many wonderful people whom you love and who love you just as much… And thankfully, you’ll always have a connection to “home”, so returning often will be easy! Travel safely! We love you. Mel Mel and Jeff

  2. I love the collage. You are really gonna be missed. Although we might not have been friends very long, you are easy to feel connected to. You are fun to be around and easy to talk to. I know you will find many great friends in Music Town, but don’t forget about us here!!! Looking forward to ya’ll coming back to visit! Hope the move goes smoothly. Love, Heidi

  3. good ol summer camp ‘see ya later’. was that from Tomahawk with our Brownwood friends, or Iron Springs? It’s funny how your move is affecting me…and I’m not even in the same town anymore. I guess the reality that things are really no longer like they were. Wow, that’s a pretty powerful sentence there, one that gives us joy in hope patience in affliction and faith in prayer. (Rom12:12) We are changing all the time, whether we realize it or not, want to or not, need to or not, or have to or not. So it’s probably a good time for us all to sit down and evaluate where we’ve come from and what sort of things we’d like to do now.
Guess you’ll never really be too far from home in Springhill!
